The Southern Poverty Law Center

I find it a little bit enraging that so many left-wing nonprofits are defending the Southern Poverty Law Center for paying the racist and antisemitic hate groups they claim to be fighting. They’re committed to the SPLC written defense that they’re informants to help them dismantle the groups after all. I’m not so sure they were doing that, as opposed to funding hate rallies to fund hate rallies, but the indictment did not go in that direction. Todd Blanche and Kash Patel implied it in the press conference, but the indictment did not get into whether they were paying the groups to stoke racial hatred like Blanche and Patel allege–as opposed to just paying informants of the KKK through money laundering with shell companies, to find out things that helped them inform their supporters and maybe dismantle hate, which is still illegal because money laundering and lying to banks is illegal, but not nearly as alarming. Do you know what I think? I think if you’re creating a shell company and lying to banks to pay members of the KKK and Nazi groups, you are funding their activities and trying to conceal it. They made fake shell companies and lied to the banking system. Either way, I feel like liberals won’t let other liberal organizations go down, even if they’ve done wrong, for the simple reason that they’re liberal and they want them. Or is it something else, like the liberals who paint their hair bleach and purple and pierce their noses are antisemitic and they want the Nazi groups to be paid, for Unite the Right in Charlottesville with the “Jews will not replace us” loudly on speaker to happen, and they condone it. They are saying that they condone it through their defense of the Southern Poverty Law Center in neglect of the information in front of them. I think they condone the hate rallies like Unite the Right, and that’s really what’s going on. Moreover, they want the rallies to happen to drum up support of whichever awful candidate they want to run through the Democratic Party regardless of the truth, which is that (I honestly believe this) the Southern Poverty Law Center wanted these rallies to happen, and paid for them.
