From the United States Mint: Celebrate a historic American milestone, the official United States Mint-issued Semiquincentennial $1 Coin was struck to honor 250 years of great American heritage.
The obverse features a portrait of the sitting President, Donald J. Trump, with the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “1776 ~ 2026.”
The coins—minted at the Philadelphia Mint—have circulating finishes but have never been placed into circulation. However, they may be still used as legal tender.
