From ABC6 Philadelphia: Once Upon a Farm is voluntarily recalling its Tractor Wheels soft-baked bars due to a potential choking hazard for toddlers.
The recall comes after the FDA received reports of choking incidents and hospitalizations.
According to the FDA, when chewed, the product can form a dry, sticky mass that may be difficult to dislodge, even with standard choking interventions.
The recalled products include the Apple, Sweet Potato, & Spinach Tractor Wheels; Strawberry, Pumpkin, & Beet Tractor Wheels; and Banana, Pumpkin &Cauliflower Tractor Wheels.
Once Upon a Farm is the children’s snack food often featured on television commercials featuring actress Jennifer Garner, who serves as the company’s co-founder and Chief Brand Officer. It’s when she goes “hey–that’s my line” to the girl in the grocery store and when she is sitting on the soccer field sidelines with a kid and another mom talking about the food.
